Of beautiful aromatic intensity, the first nose reveals aromas of ripe red and black fruits, as well as woodland fruits.
The nose is complex; followed by sweet spices, a peppery hint, then a slightly kirsch-like cherry. The vanilla and subtly toasted notes add an even more flattering and indulgent character.
On the palate, the attack is quite straightforward. Driven by a lovely acidity, the mouth shows a certain nervousness in its youth. This is balanced by a pleasant sweetness that provides a nice volume. The tannins, still young, are silky and coat the palate. Enjoyable for its freshness in its youth, there is also a lovely potential for ageing over the next few years.
